Emiratis are exempt from the extra AED 100 added to all emirates ID applications.

There has been an increase in service fees of AED 100 for applying for Emirates ID, residence visas, or visit visas, as announced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Costumes, and Port Security (ICP). The ICP agent confirmed, “ There are additional fees for all the services on the ICP regarding the news update of AED 100 for each service”. This hike in service charge is not applicable to Emiratis.
